Raid Rules

Due to our change in guild structure, we will be revamping our raid rules to give limits on expectations, leaving most of the specific rules to each raid leader.

1. Any guild member with a designated team may not pug a raid instance without first finding a replacement for their spot and getting authorization from their team’s designated raid leader.

2. Each member of the raid team must have dual specialization and their secondary specialization will be determined by the raid leader. This is to ensure that each team has the required roles in order to complete the raid encounter.

3. Loot rules will be established by each raid leader; however, the following rules will apply to all members to establish a base line;
a. All rolls will be main spec first, offspec second.
b. Armor will be awarded to the individual, whose character wears that particular armor. (I.E. cloth will go to mages, locks & priests before being offered to druids, paladins or shamans; regardless if the item is considered BIS.)

4. Raid members who are late to the invite time without notifying their RL or team members will be replaced by a pug for the remainder of the week.

5. Raid members who miss more than two weeks of raiding will be removed from the raid team and replaced by a more reliable player. (Leave of absence may be approved by the RL if the player notified the RL prior to their absence.)

6. Each team will consist of 2 main tanks, 3 healers & 5 dps; with at least one other off tank & healer.

7. In order to maintain the guild’s monetary solvency, all BOE items not taken by a main spec will be placed in the auction house for sale and all proceeds of that sale will be placed in the guild bank.
